Sunday 12th June
Today Dad took Aidan and I to an airshow
and it was really cool.
My favourite plane was the Red Arrows because they few at the Queen’s birthday parade. On 2 of the other planes that few there were two girls who stood on the wing and did hand stands but they were wearing harnesses. Dad got us a toblerone and an icecream. We had to go on 4 really long train trips and it was really boring.
Tuesday 14th June
Today we saw lots of squirrels and we fed them.
We also saw some people feeding lemurs. I really wanted to do it.
We rode at the front of a double decker bus.
Also we watched the changing of the guards. It was very loud because of the band, all the marching and the horses hooves.
Wednesday 15th June
Today we went to a museum and was gross. In the museum there were lots of bones and dead animals. The best thing was the elephant skull because it was huge.
My least favourite was all the jars of dead worms.
In the afternoon I got to the go to the park across the road from our house. It is a really cool park and I played with lots of kids there.
Thursday 16th June
Today we went to see the Tower Bridge open for the big boats.
The really big one was very large. Two smaller boats sent through when it was open. We went on a train that had no driver so it was awesome because you could sit right up the front and see right in front of you where the train was going.
We went to a museum at the Docklands that all the goods from the ships came to. There were lots of interesting facts about boats and London.
Afterwards we went to a park near the Olympic stadium that was super doorper cool but some of it was scary. I was really happy because I was allowed to take my shoess off and I could hang upside down from ropes.
