Holly 3, Wednesday 25th May
Today we saw the Cherhill white horse and the Hackpen white horse. We also went to the train station to get some tickets and the machine kept spitting out tickets and it was really funny. We got 30 tickets! It was really, really cold. Dad took Aidan and I to see the ducks and the swans, one of the swans hissed at us and the one that was swimming didn't even notice us.

Today we
walked Rufus to the hair dresser to get his treat like always. We went to see
the Cherhill
.and the Hackpen white horse. We will go back on a nice day and go for a walk there with Rufus.
We went to have a look at a car and took it for a test drive around the block and
back to the car yard.
We also went to a canal and saw two swans, one of them
hissed at us. We went in to the train station to get some train tickets. They
came out so quick that Holly had to help me get them out of the ticket machine
then we got a family and friends rail card which makes trips less money. We got
30 tickets out of the machine for just 2 train trips
It was really cold
outside today but we have our jumpers. It was really really cold when it was windy.

Last night Rufus slept with me and this morning he threw up at the bottom of the stair case and it was horrible. Also we went to see the Bratton Camp white horse
and the Millennium Horse. They were made from chalky ground.
On our way to see the horses we stopped at a church and we saw a sundial so Mum taught us Roman numerals.
We also went on a narrow boat called Victorius and it's owner is Gypsy John. We helped him with the locks as well.
We pushed the lock gates and turned the windlass. This opens the paddles to let the water in and out. It is very hard to turn. There is a small path with sticking up bits for grips to help push on the lock gates which are very heavy.
He had a King Charles spaniel that was deaf and blind, his name was Bill.
But he does like swimming in the canal. Oh! and also Aidan, Dad and I took Rufus for a walk and he stopped at the hair dresser for a treat.

We have had first night in our first house sit. it was good, Holly slept with Rufus on a Double bed, and I sleep in a small room on a single bed. Clarry only sleeps with me during the day, she is also cross eyed but she can still see well enough. This morning holly, Dad and I took Rufus for a walk. We went past the hair dresser and he got his treat like every day but not Sunday and Monday.
We went for a drive and saw a church which had a sundial which said it was half past ten.
Today we went to see one of the two white horses made of chalk. The first one was the Bratton camp white horse
and the second one was called the millennium white horse.
We also went to a canal and helped a man go through the lock. We also went on the boat through a lock. We helped push the lock gates open and turn the windlass which lets the water through little gaps in the gates.
The man on the boats name is Gypsy John and he had a king Charles spaniel which belonged to his son but he was going with him. His name is bill and he is blind and deaf but he is still a good swimmer. When we left he was just mooring the boat for the night because he was tired.

On Friday the 20th of May, Mum, Dad, Aidan and I left Australia to go to England for a grand adventure for 12 months. We went on two planes. One was for 14 hours and the other was for 7 and a half hours. We were driven up to Brisbane by Ross who is house sitting our house. We got on our first plane and it stopped in Dubai. we got on our second plane that brought us to England. At the England Airport we were picked up by Andy and he took us to his house and stayed there for two nights.
Andy lives with his wife Barbora and their dog Honey.
Honey is a very small dog and our cat Max is bigger than her. On Sunday Andy made us an English breakfast and it was tomatoes, baked beans, eggs, toast and bacon. On Monday we came to our first house sit and we are staying for three weeks. There is a dog called Rufus and a cat called Clarry who is cross eyed. I like Rufus the best.

Hi, I have just made it to England!
When I left school on Friday 20th of May I went
home and got all my stuff together and went to the airport. Our house sitter Ross drove us to the airport
then went back to look after Jaffa. . On the plane we got a satchel which had books
and things and we also got meals and got to watch a lot of movies. I watched season 1 of The Flash. We stopped
in Dubai to change planes and on the second plane we got frosty cornflakes and
fruit for breakfast. We landed in
England and got picked up by dad’s friend Andy.
Andy drove us to his house in Bristol. We were all very tired so after
going to a pub for dinner we had an early night. On Monday the 23rd of
may we are going to our first house sit.
To begin our first day in England we had an English breakfast
that Andy cooked for us. My dad’s friend has a dog whose name is Honey. She is a
Prague rat dog.
She is supposed to catch rats but she is scared of them so she
will run away from them. I am looking forward to doing house sitting around
England and the UK.

We just got back from Sue’s house which is going to be our
first house sit. Rufus is a small dog I might sleep with him every night. Clarry the cat sleeps in a dog bed in the
kitchen.
